X-60 Zinc Chromate Red Primer and 960 Zinc Chromate Yellow Primer are general-purpose, rust-inhibitive industrial enamel primers formulated with a modified alkyd resin and zinc chromate pigmentation. Designed for superior adhesion and corrosion resistance, these primers are suitable for use on lightly rusted, bare, abrasive blasted, or previously painted metal surfaces. They may also be used as intermediate coats to maximize long-term corrosion protection in multi-coat systems. Both products are USDA acceptable and Agriculture Canada approved, making them appropriate for use in regulated environments such as food processing or agricultural facilities.

The primers are available in two finishes: X-60 in flat red and 960 in flat yellow. They are compatible with a wide range of topcoats, including industrial enamel high gloss, semi-gloss, flat, and metallic finishes. Additionally, they are suitable for use with 8400 Food and Beverage Industry Finishes, providing flexibility for a variety of industrial maintenance and OEM applications.
