As part of the Clean Fuel Project (CFP), Thai Oil upgraded its hydrocracker units (HCU) to increase refinery output from 275,000 to 400,000 barrels per day and to produce cleaner, higher-quality transportation fuels. These upgrades exposed critical infrastructure to extreme heat and corrosive conditions, requiring a highly reliable anti-corrosion solution to maintain long-term performance.
Thai Oil selected Densoclad 41 HT and Densoclad 70 HT to meet the demands of this high-temperature environment. Densoclad 41 HT delivers a robust anti-corrosive barrier ideal for pipelines operating under elevated heat, while Densoclad 70 HT provides added mechanical protection and durability against temperature fluctuations and operational stress. Together, they ensure lasting protection and efficiency in one of Thailand’s most advanced refining projects.
