The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) operates over 512 substations across Thailand, supporting the transmission of electricity over 10,173 circuit-kilometers and serving more than 17 million customers in 99.98% of the country’s area. These facilities are vital to Thailand’s energy infrastructure and are exposed to diverse environmental and operational stress.

To ensure long-term performance and minimize corrosion, Rust-Oleum RO A21-8500, RO V2185, and RO V2117 were applied to structural steel, towers, and equipment housings. In addition, Dyno D8500 was used for its durable, direct-to-metal protection in field applications. This combination of high-performance coatings supports reliability, safety, and reduced maintenance across PEA’s extensive substation network.
