Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Primers provide a sound base for application of Stops Rust enamels on heavily rusted steel. These primers offer twice the rust prevention compared to using enamels alone. They enhance topcoat adhesion and help prevent chipping, cracking, and peeling. Using Stops Rust Primers also reduces the need for multiple coats of enamel finish. Not recommended for use on galvanized steel.
