Commercial Universal Alkyd Primer is a high-solids, low-VOC, oil-based primer designed for use on a wide range of interior and exterior surfaces where an oil-based system is preferred. This versatile primer delivers excellent adhesion, making it ideal not only for metal but also for smooth or hard-to-coat surfaces.

Engineered for both commercial and industrial applications, it can be used as a direct-to-metal (DTM) coating and offers a fast dry time to support efficient project turnaround. Although primarily formulated for metal, it performs reliably in situations where optimal surface preparation may not be feasible. Please note that it is not recommended for use on galvanized steel.
