DESCRIPTION
A high solids, high build, direct to metal, two component, aliphatic acrylic polyurethane. Formulated to meet a VOC of 340 g/l USDA acceptable1 and Agriculture Canada approved, except 9815.
USES
This Urethane Mastic coating is designed to provide high-performance service in moderate to severe environments. It can be used directly on sound rusted steel with minimum surface preparation, and it can also be used on clean steel, galvanized metal, concrete and previously coated surfaces with proper surface preparation.
It provides a highly aesthetic, extremely durable. It is suitable for heavy industrial, severe coastal, off-shore or chemical environments where superior corrosion protection and resistance to fading and loss of gloss from exposure to sunlight is required.
RECOMMENDED PRIMERS
9800 System is self-priming and can be used without a primer in mild to moderate exposures. The use of a primer is required in severe exposures and on heavily rusted surfaces. Also, aluminum should be primed.
